City of Dreams Mediterranean (COD) is a luxurious 5-star, 500-room, award-winning casino resort in Limassol, Cyprus, marking a new era of premium comfort and elegance with unrivalled leisure facilities. COD Mediterranean can accommodate the biggest conferences and exhibitions in Cyprus within hotels. The resort’s aim is to target international conference planners with year-round sunshine, affordable, convenient flights, transport links and world-class amenities.
In the first 18 months since the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) facilities were unveiled, COD hosted over 120 events bringing in over 350,000 visitors, firmly establishing its appeal as a premier hotel and conference centre.
Among the international conferences hosted are IFX EXPO and I-CON, corporate meetings with LVMH, Google, NMBS and Exness.
An unparalleled range of spaces with over 8,000m² are dedicated to events, all unique, versatile and containing state-of-the-art equipment.
For conferences, The Forum is the island’s largest resort expo centre; an expansive, multipurpose venue. 1,500 m2 it can be transformed for any event style - trade shows, exhibitions or conferences. It has a 400amp power capacity and 12m ceiling with multiple rigging points plus light and airy pre-function area with private access. Maximum capacity is 1300.
The Grand Ballroom is a transformable event space for a magnificent indoor/outdoor celebration - a 1,420 m² pillar free area which can be customised with movable partitions.
Stand out features include a built-in LED wall and projection screens. The space can host up to 1100 guests. Additionally, the pre-function Grand Ballroom covers a large open space with over 650m2, offering a unique area for cocktail receptions and networking events.
Finally, with stunning views overlooking the manicured gardens and terraces of the resort, the event lawn area, and with up to 340 days of sunshine annually, Cyprus has the climate to host outdoor events at any time of year.
The event lawn can accommodate up to 2000 guests for a cocktail reception, 1000 for a banquet and 1200 for a ceremony set up.
Conference and event guests enter COD via a private MICE lobby adding to the exclusivity and practicality of the facilities.
The wider resort offers a luxurious place for overnight guests with seven restaurants, including three premium eateries and a choice of 500 rooms and suites all of which are tastefully decorated in calming neutral colourways, with stunning views of the surrounding areas.
Guests can enjoy a host of premium amenities with designer shops and boutiques. Renu, the resort’s spa, fitness centre and health club includes saunas, a steam room and jacuzzi, alongside a year-round indoor pool. The resort also boasts the largest outdoor pool complex in Cyprus and an outdoor adventure park.
